Today, Friday, November 17, 2023, the University of Fallujah participated in the activities of the central ceremony for Iraqi university students organized by the Holy Abbasid Shrine for the academic year 2022-2023, in the holy city of Karbala, under the slogan (From the land of Karbala, giving results),
with the participation of more than 2,500 students from 44 Iraqi public and private universities. Such as the delegation from the University of Fallujah. Participant in the ceremony The President of the University, Professor Dr. Sabah Ibrahim Hammadi, the Director of the Student Activities Department, Dr. Salim Hassan, and a number of graduates of the university’s faculties. The ceremony included the march of university graduates and delegations participating between the Two Holy Mosques,
in addition to organizing a series of scientific, intellectual and cultural events. The ceremony aims to highlight the true image of the outputs of the distinguished Iraqi universities, and embody the national solidarity of the people of Iraq, through the participation of graduates of all religions, sects and nationalities, to repeat the graduation oath in The shrine of Abu al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him). It is noteworthy that the University of Fallujah had previously received an official invitation from the Holy Abbasid Shrine to attend the activities of the central ceremony, in confirmation of the academic status that the university occupies.
