On Thursday, May 2, 2024, the respected President of the University of Fallujah, Professor Dr. Ahmed Suleiman Hamad, attended the activities of the week celebrating World Intellectual Property Day, which was organized by the University of Baghdad in cooperation with the Central Agency for Standardization and Quality Control, and with the participation of a number of Iraqi universities.
The week included various activities, including lectures, seminars, and workshops on intellectual property topics and sustainable development goals, in addition to an innovations exhibition.
During his visit, the President of the University, Professor Dr. Ahmed Suleiman Hamad, participated in a solidarity stand organized by the students of the University of Baghdad in support of the Palestinian people against the brutal Israeli aggression.
The stand was also attended by the President of the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Bahaa Ibrahim Kazem. In his speech, His Excellency affirmed that the Iraqi people stand wholeheartedly alongside the brotherly Palestinian people in their just struggle for freedom and the restoration of their stolen rights, expressing his complete belief that the Palestinian people will ultimately triumph and achieve their dream of establishing their independent state on their land.
At the conclusion of his visit, the University President praised the distinguished academic relationship between the University of Fallujah and the University of Baghdad, indicating the University of Fallujah’s keenness to strengthen this relationship through the exchange of experiences and cooperation in various fields.
