The President of the University of Fallujah, Professor Dr. Ahmed Suleiman Hamad, and his accompanying delegation participated in the activities of the Second International Conference on Reducing Extremism and Terrorism, which was organized by the General Secretariat of the Holy Shrine of Hussein during the period from February 29 to March 1, 2024.
The conference was held under the slogan “Extremism and Terrorism is a Threat to Community Peace” in the presence of the Secretary-General of the Holy Shrine of Hussein, Mr. Hassan Rashid Al-Abaiji, The Iraqi Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Hisham Al-Alawi, and a group of personalities Official, academic and religious affairs from inside and outside Iraq.
The conference seeks to identify the most important points to reduce the phenomenon of extremism and terrorism, and to enrich scientific libraries with sound and rigorous research, in addition to revealing the dangers and damage resulting from the presence of terrorist organizations.
This participation comes within the framework of the University of Fallujah’s keenness to communicate with universities, colleges and other governmental institutions with the aim of providing academic expertise that contributes to providing the necessary information, actions and plans that contribute to fortifying society.
